Van Ness Track Less Litter Mat Review

This mat is used to get litter off your cat's feet as they exit the litter box area. It does get litter off of their feet and the litter easily comes off of the mat (I just dump it back into the box). It doesn't catch all of the litter because there is also litter on the floor around it. It does look a little uncomfortable to me, but my cats never show any discomfort while being on it.

I bought this for $5 at Walmart.

Fresh Steps Litter Box Wipes Review

I was at a store one day buying cat supplies and happened to see something interesting. Litter box wipes! Why hadn't I seen these before? No more cleaning and hosing them out in the backyard and letting them dry in the sun. All I would have to do now is use these specially developed wipes to clean them.

Unfortunantely, I have found that generic baby wipes are better.  The baby wipes are thicker and much cheaper.  I bought the baby wipes for 40 for 96 cents!  The special litter box wipes were $3.48 for 35.  I would buy the baby wipes instead.  The baby wipes are just as effective in removing the dried urine and/or feces.

Toilet training for your cat!

I just came across this site while reading some news. I am entertained at the thought of teaching my cats to use the toilet but I probably won't do it. I don't mind cleaning their boxes; it doesn't stink because I clean it twice a day. Also, I can become aware of any health problems by cleaning the litter box everyday. Although it would be nice to not have that extra chore, it would be more of a chore to have a health problem and not catch it in time.

If you have a cat, changing the litter box comes with the territory. A regular litter box, not a mechanical one, is what to use. Mechanical ones can scare or even injure the cat if begins to clean while the cat is still in it. It is also an ineffective cleaner. It may get the feces, but it simply cannot get the urine. So, your cat has a urine filled box all the time. Also, because of the motor and storage for the waste, the cat has a very small area to use and most cats don't like small boxes.
